1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the ChessPDF Chrome extension ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ChessPDF is a Chrome browser extension that allows users to export chess games from Chess.com into formatted PDF documents. The Service is provided by ChessPDF ("we", "us", or "our").

3. Free and Pro Plans

The Service offers a free tier limited to 1 PDF export per day. Pro plans are available via paid subscription ($3/month) or a one-time lifetime payment ($19), unlocking unlimited exports and additional features. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record.

4. License

Upon purchase, you receive a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Pro features of ChessPDF. License keys may not be shared, resold, or transferred to other users.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to use ChessPDF only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the extension. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your license key.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within ChessPDF is owned by ChessPDF and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Chess.com game data is retrieved via Chess.com's public API and remains the property of its respective owners.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChessPDF shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
